Geoff and bethany Gasperini
Geoff and Bethany have been involved with Engaged Encounter since 2009. They were married in 2002 and have three rambunctious boys and two adorable girls. Bethany is an avid runner and academic tutor. Geoff is an attorney by day and devoted father by night. Both enjoy spending time with their five kids and cheering them on in all they do.
Bryce yancey and Melanie Tazza
Bryce and Melanie were married in October 2008 and have been involved in Engaged Encounter since 2009. They have five children. Bryce enjoys camping with the family and running, while Melanie loves to "cook with love" for her family and friends. They are active members of the St. Patrick's parish in Church Hill and love taking walks with the kids and their dog Wilson in their neighborhood and at the park.
Kevin and Adria
Kevin and Adria have been presenting Engaged Encounter weekends since 1985. They were married in 1982 and have two adult children, Nick and Chris. They became new grandparents in October 2015. Kevin is a Permanent Deacon, assigned to St. Edward the Confessor church in North Chesterfield County, VA. His Ministry focus is Marriage and Family Life. He enjoys all sports especially golf, while Adria is an avid gardener and enjoys reading.
Jim AND sandy dyk
Jim and Sandy have been married since August 1966. Their two children have filled the family tree with three grandchildren and three step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Sandy and Jim have been a presenting team for Engaged Encounter since 1987 and have served in every leadership position within the organization. If you were to ask them, they would say, "Ours is not a wheezy old marriage, but a young bright energetic marriage between two old folks."
Patrick and Donna Snyder
Donna and Patrick have been involved in Engaged Encounter since 2006. They were married in 1997 and have five daughters. Patrick is a baseball and hockey fan and also enjoys (and brews) craft beer. Donna is a homeschooling mother and creates beautiful pottery in her spare time.
DAN GARDNER AND SHANNON LA SPINA
Dan and Shannon were married in 2002 and have three children. They have been involved with Engaged Encounter since 2004. Dan works as a principal at Randolph Elementary, and Shannon works as a pediatric physical therapist for Bon Secours. Shannon is an avid runner and enjoys cooking. Dan enjoys working out, craft beer and being outside. They attend St. Michael's Catholic Church in Glen Allen VA.
Pam and george coker
Pam and George were married in 1975 in Coronado, CA. George was in the Navy, which took them around the world, eventually leading them to Virginia Beach, VA. They have three children: Theresa, Elisabeth, and Thomas, and a grandson, Anthony George. They became involved in Engaged Encounter in 1984 and have been a presenting team for over 30 years.
Steve and Natasha Feher
Steve and Natasha met in college and participated in a Catholic Engaged Encounter weekend before they were married in May, 1996. Their lives have been blessed with three wonderful children: Cassandra, Alexander, and Nicholas. The Fehers have been involved with marriage preparation since 1998—starting with a campus Pre-Cana and mentoring program, before moving to Richmond in 2012 and becoming active with the Catholic Engaged Encounter team in the Diocese.
Chris and Lesley Cosby
Chris and Lesley have been married since 1998 and have been involved with Engaged Encounter since 2014. They enjoy spending time with their three children and finding new adventures as a family. Chris is a prior Navy pilot and likes to work out, tinker around the house and spend time with his family. Lesley is a physical therapist and enjoys yoga, hiking and being outdoors. They attend St. Bridget's church and have throughly enjoyed sharing their marriage experience with engaged couples.
Ed and Tricia Blair
Ed and Tricia Blair have been involved with EE since 2015. They were married in 1986 and have 1 daughter.
Tricia is a stay at home mom who also spends her time volunteering with church, school and girl scouts. In her spare time she loves to scrapbook and crosstitch.
Ed is a CPA who enjoys following his favorite teams both on the diamond and gridiron.
They have been parishioners of St. Michael’s Catholic Church since moving to Richmond in 2007.
